    Unified Deism on SBNR.org

Large portions of the global population are slowly moving away from revealed religions and toward a Spiritual But Not Religious (SBNR) worldview.  A new site, SBNR.org, is "dedicated to serving the millions of people worldwide who walk a spiritual path outside traditional religion."  After many months of behind the scenes collaboration, our very own Chuck Clendenen as been accepted as a formal contributor to SBNR.org.  This is great news for Deism and Unified Deism.  Congrats, Chuck! Reasoned Spirituality: Deism in our Daily Lives

This post is an update from the original Deist Flow blog entry: “Man is a piece of the universe made alive.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson Introduction I am often disheartened when I hear that people leave Deism because they feel it is as cold as Atheism or lacks spirituality.  This is my fault.  This is the fault of every Deist who has failed to capture the full breadth and depth of Deism and share it with the world.  Deism is deeply spiritual, deeply emotional, and deeply practical.  In Read more

She had a handful putting up with this wretch of a son writing now. She loved life, loved her family, loved her Christian God; and she was loved and respected by all around her. She worked Read more

    A New Renaissance

Welcome to a new Renaissance, a rebirth of spiritual reasoning. Just as the Renaissance represented a cultural reawakening for Europe, we are experiencing a rebirth of the spirit in the Communication Age. Ours is a humanist revival, a celebration of our humanity as we watch the influence of centuries of organized religion wane in the civilized world. Science is in the ascendency. We invite reason and rationality to hold us firmly in their grip. We are reexamining our relationship with God. While Read more

The Case for God

Power of God

Before we can make the case for God, we must have an agreed-upon definition. This is much more difficult than it may seem at first glance. Our definition must capture only the essence of what we mean Read more
